About Me:: Zappa fan since age 10 in 1972, a friend borrowed his older brothers Hot Rats Album and brought ot over to listen to and I was hooked and it spiraled from there. While I enjoyed the satire and humor the music is what hooked me.

I grew up listening to Jazz and Classical music that my mom would play and fell in love with Rock in 67 when I got a transistor radio for my 5th birthday. Flash forward to when I first heard Frank's music and it set my mind on fire to the possibilities music affords.

In the early 70s most people (that I grew up around in midwest white bread America) most people thought "Zappa" was weird, and I wore that freak flag held high. Over the years friends gave me kinds of Zappa paraphenelia ranging from hand made crafts leather keychains, metal welded ZAPPA signs, posters, beer bottles etc... I have turned many people on to the music of FZ.

I was fortunate enough to see Frank in 1978 (age 16) and to this day it is still the best concert I've ever seen. Over the years in bands I have a covered several Zappa songs and was always very happy when the crowd would sing along.

Frank would be extremely proud of Dweezil, his continuance of Frank's music is obviously a labor of love and his playing and stage performances blow me away!
